My influences and musical style follow bands like U2, Coldplay, 30 Seconds to Mars. Big arena music, texture work (Brian Eno/Daniel Lanois-esque) and a little bit experimental but the melody driving everything - but primarily pop/rock/stadium music.

This is only a portion of the opportunities that are provided to our competing artists who experienced the Edmonton Undiscovered program. Other opportunities included:
Paid Performance Opportunities to artists ages 10 and older
Free Artist Development through in-studio rehearsals, venue/stage rehearsals
A vocal coach and stage coaching, and mentorship
Personalized on-the-spot feedback at EU's Competition with a panel of industry professionals ranging from vocal coaches, to competition winners, TV Producers, Local Entertainment Celebrities, Film Producers, Music Video Producers, and Established Artists. After each performance our artists received real-time feedback from these judges in all areas of their performance, stage etiquette and professionalism -- also touching on appearance and fashion to help those performers at the grass roots level bring their musical performance up to the standards of the industry.
Edmonton Undiscovered competitors did all of this for free, with no entry fee -- including stage coaching and mentoring at our facility. This is a great opportunity for an artist to get a great push through a summer program, with many potential opportunities to follow.
Target date for auditions is in April 2012. Target date for the competition and artist development program is in May 2012. The format of the show is a bi-weekly competition at a venue, with artist development and mentoring in between each show, for the remaining contestants. There are 8 Shows in total
We are accepting applications for Edmonton Undiscovered Season 4 at this time. Official applications will be emailed to those who send a notice of interest by replying to this advertisement with the email form to the right of your screen.
